Any thoughts on how a rebuilt title affects value? Thanks for any input.

I've had a few foxbodies with a rebuilt title from when they were less than 5 yrs old and depending on what happened have been fixed properly as they seem to have been fairly new low mileage.
It seems that alot of times the original owner would have had full value replacement insurance or driven over something and insurance is afraid to have to fix hidden undercariage issue's.

It does seem to hinder resale and has a lower price compared to others but can make nice driver or racecar to start from.
In the old days cars were hit hard or cut in half and pieced back together but still had "clean titles "

I think as these cars get older it won't be a huge deal, more so how original they are. But if you stack one against a clean title car it obviously won't hold the same value. Just my 2cents
