Missing vin sticker on hood, missing vin sticker on passenger fender and front bumper. Never seen an intake sticker that faded on a low mile car. Definitely been painted. Not sure I like the handles painted vibrant red.

Not sure I believe the bidding on this car.

My thoughts exactly. Must be friends driving up that price cause i wouldn't pay that much for that car.

"Visibility Light Group"?

Don't all lights provide visibility? Unless they're broken of course!

This car went through Greenville Carmax Auction a few months back. I went down to buy it but it is rough. It has had a front bumper, both fenders, hood and drivers door replaced. Poor repaint all handles and locks painted over, ovespray on moldings, some trash in the paint. The seats dont look like a 53k mile car. I figured the car for 10 grand and then address what it needed to be put back right but someone paid 17k for it. This was right when the Fox's were at Barrett and you started seeing dealers buy them and ask crazy money for them. It was in Columbia SC now it is up north at this dealer. Thats what drives me crazy these dealers that havent got a clue and just jumping on the bandwagon of the next hot car and are just buying them and paying crazy money for rough cars like this and are screwing the market up for the rest of us that know and appreciate these cars and there worth.

This shouldn't drive you crazy. It's the typical uninformed speculation that occurs all the time with the latest "hot" car. The 93 Cobras have been enjoying a nice upward trend for the last couple of years, and this trend is likely to continue as these cars turn 25. Might as well get used to (and laugh at) more of these clueless dealers and some private sellers trying to make a killing on these cars.

I get what you are saying Speed. It seriously hoses the average Joe out of buying these cars. Same thing happened with the 60's and 70's muscle cars. Guys that owned the cars new when they were in high school, went to go buy them again after they were married with kids and realized they could no longer afford the cars they had gotten their drivers license with.
