I was talking to this guy a few months ago. A guy was in this accident, stored it in a storage unit, didn't pay the bills so car was repoed by the storage owners and sold it cheap to their friend (seller) and that's the story. Seller knows nothing about this car.
I almost pulled the trigger. My buddy is a body shop and said with all the buckeling, the car isn't worth it. Said it's a parts car unless someone just couldn't resist fixing it and blowing thousands on it.

Parts car in my opinion

I agree looking at the rear quarter panels, it would be a fun project though. I was interested but shipping would kill it for me.

Based off the wrinkles, I'd say it has already been on a frame rack and pre pulled to make it look like light damage. I would bet the frame rails have buckles in them as well. Looks like a multi time loser if you look at the leading edge of the passenger door.

Appears to have the early intake.

It's probably just one of those cars where if your a body guy it would be fine to fix it now.
But if not then its like an rrsp and park it away for a few more years till the value makes it worth while to fix and start collecting parts.

Brett, I had the number. It was a lower number. I'm in Germany now and threw the paper away. You can call him and he'll give you the vin right away. He'll also talk your ear off

Lol yes he will. I think those quarters can be fixed. The issue is there is no title, the previous owner bought the car wrecked but he never got a title, he disappeared 4 years ago, the guy that owns the storage unit basically sold it to the seller now only with a bill of sale, the storage owner could have gotten a title if he did the proper leg work. If it had a title it would be a fun project but once the car has been passed around through 3 different people it could get difficult to get a new title.
