Guys lets be honest its what someone is willing to pay period. I own #195 and have had it since 2011 and mine has 80k on the clock bought it with 77k. Mine is in similar condition with 15k more miles and does not have original exhaust. Lets look at all the Cobras and compare. Some are saying 15k come on are you serious? Pretty much what this guy has is the lowest production number color combo and to top it off is one of the first 500 cars produced. The only way it gets better is if he had an R model. Do I think he is a little rich on the price yea a little but give me a break 15k your fucking crazy. Take a look at the POS fox bodies cars that Dennis (Fast n Loud) sold at Barrett Jackson this past January. Are the values of these cars going up? We all know they are. Just because you bot a Cobra 5 years ago for 11k with 60k on the clock your expecting to pay the same price now?

For the record, I'm the only one that said 15K, and you clearly missed the " ;) " at the end of that sentence. I was attempting to poke fun at some previous comments on the front license plate holes. Maybe next time I'll put a couple of extra " ;) " at the end of the sentence to avoid any confusion.

This car is clearly worth well over $15K, which should have been clear from my other comments. Those would be the ones without the " ;) " in them. :D

I think everyone here already knows teal black is the rarest combo and as such it will demand a premium just to help with a little perspective I tried finding a teal black for a couple of months and I contacted some people that I knew had one and all of them wanted in the mid 30s for their car. one even told me he turned down 38K for his car. Now these cars were lower mile cars but as time goes on I really don't think milage will matter as much as condition and originality. For most people, do they really care how many miles a 67 shelby GT 500 has on it? or is it more important if the car is in great condition?

I think this car is worth every penny of the asking price

I was following this car when it was for sale, was thinking of pulling the trigger but just didn't do it. Ebay says it sold for $20,300. Any comments on the price. Fair, too much, too little?

I'm in the market to buy a 93 Cobra. Just doing by due diligence before taking the next step. Thanks in advance.

I'd say it was a good deal for the buyer and seller of the car, this car had several sought after things going for it. Like one owner, California or west coast car, teal and black rarest color combo, he may have gotten more if he held out for a bit but he seemed happy with lowering the reserve to sell it. Everyone has life obstacles they need to concur, sometimes it involves selling a car like this. I had one and sold it a few years ago, didn't have to but was bored with it, if I sold it today I would have gotten more $$ for it. You just have to decide what you want and look high and low for it until you find the "ONE"
