Ya I'm kinda thinking the same. The only reason I don't want it to happen is I want the o/t. My wife works with me and she only has 6 years.... But she'll be safe if it happens. But it would be pretty nice to have them off. Woulda been better when I was younger and single tho! Lol. And yes... Always tip your mailman!!

I've actually thought about taking the postal exam, I want to drive the jeep, my dad actually bought one when I was a kid, cool having to drive in the passenger seat

Yea and they count your fed time, i think they have a hiring freeze though no?

I'm gonna guesstimate maybe 35 or 40 percent. The longer your on one rt... the better chances you have because you get to know a lot of customers personally. In Detroit they're actually hiring carriers like crazy. They changed the way it works when you get in.. But we just hired 5 in our office alone. I'm in the burbs south of Detroit. I don't think I could carry mail in Detroit! It's crazy there. And there are loose dogs everywhere!
