That is indeed our project car. I'm not sure how i posted without logging in. I wasn't even aware that happened until afterward when i reread the post. The FR500s fit perfectly on the back. The front's could tuck in a bit more, but no one offers that offset. Eventually i want to get a set of CCWs or HREs for it for the street and use the FR500s for the track.

Thanks for the compliments. The car is indeed mine--I told the whole story of how i bought it in the January 2007 issue. I live in Brooksville, about 45 minutes north of Tampa.

I wasn't originally sold on the black wheels either but all of my friends got me into it and my wife, who hates black wheels, said it even looked good so i went for it. They're a bit on the heavy side but look great.

I remember submitting the car's info for the registry a while back, but it never got on the list. I'll have to get the info on it when i get home tonight. It's number 2853 or something like that. Are all of the option codes in the glove box? i don't have any of the original paperwork.

Good point.

Car is number 2896 built on 5/10/93.

Gray Leather, factory CD player, Teal obviously. No sunroof. I think that might be it. Oh, and it has the new car smell.

It is already on the registry, It was probably added last weekend. You can call 1-800-FORDSVT and they can give you the original selling dealers name and for a few $ they will send you a new certificate. Let me know who it is and I will add it along with your name to the registry. Oh! and what about throwing our name in your article or Jeff's Cyber Stangs?? I could probably even add a link to MM&FF to my links page.

Walker Ford in Clearwater, Florida was the dealer. I'm the third owner.

I mentioned the site to Jeff Bauer. He sounded very interested in it.

Thanks for the word to Jeff, Steve. Jeff emailed e couple of days ago asking a few questions about the site, I think he is working on something. Also the next time I update the registry I will add your new info. By the way what is the easiest way to get a back copy ? I missed the one with the first stolen goods article and how could I a copy of the ones that contain 93 cobras from back around 92-94?

Back issues can be obtained via www.primediabackissues.com. Unfortunately they only go back two or three years. The old articles from '92-93 you'll have to find on ebay or if someone happens to have them.

I'd send you a copy of January's issue, but we're all out at the office. The printing company only sends us so many and most of the time the ad staff sends them out to the advertisers. I think they should have the article up on our website soon though.

Hi guys. I just wanted to let those interested in the Stolen Goods project that our talented web staff has started posting the articles on the MM&FF site under the project car tab. Here's a link:

I'm not sure what issue it's in, but i believe 1993Cobra.com received a write up in our Cyberstallions column too.

Thanks for the link Steve, I missed the first article on stolen goods. The write-up on 1993cobra.com is supposed to come out in the next magazine.
