Looks good man. She is clean. Like how the strut tower area is clean also. That's a hard place to keep rock and dirt debris out of.

the damage to the front rail is spead out over a long area, wonder what they used to jack it , a small bottle jack , and why were they jacking it up so much? i always used just a regular floor jack and have never seen any damage before

Sears put my 88 up on their lift years ago and damaged the frame rails real bad. Noticed after that the drivers door and front fender didn't match. It was a day or two later so there wasn't much I could do about it but I'm sure it was Sears. I don't let anyone jack up my cobra for this reason alone.

It may be from a jack stand, instead of a jack if it was positioned wrong??

prob Willy... oh well, i really dont care that much.

I also know the original owner was a "car gear head" so im sure there was alot of incorrect lifting of this car. oh well

I mean i showed up to get the car, and the only thing wrong with the car was the rear latch didnt close.. he had the OEM part for 4 years and never did it - he said he didnt know how.. so needless to say i had the new part in the next day.

Meh, their a little messy, but oh well. I'd rather deal with that then a hacked up interior, or a car that had the entire front clip replaced.

Honestly, I think there is something on every car that a person of this board could pick out as being wrong. Enjoy the car, if that is the only flaw then things could be a lot worse. The car is extremely clean.

got new hood pins for the pad underneath where it was sagging. and the wear on the hood pad is from the strut brace, i may get a new one, but like how this is the original. ill take some photos of the car hopefully this weekend.

Now that's neat! I can tell your a true car ethusiast and take a lot of pride into your car. Really cool.

What's something like that cost a month? If you dont' mind me asking.
What's the size?
