20k miles Cobra. Body work before and after!

Post by Pokerninja »

Hey All,

I'm new to the group and just recently purchased this mustang from the original owner. I'm in the process of making some changes. So far I've; tinted the windows (5% on back + 20% all the way around), sound system, cervinis svo hood (discontinued), stalker bumper (with mustang emblem added afterwards by the shop) and some HID lights.

Before moving on to under the hood next year, I'm going to finish some aesthtic changes this year including: 18' cobra r deep dish wheels, staggered stance tires (probably 275 up front and possibly 305 or 315 in back) and an air suspension (im currently looking at ridetech for options).

Let me know what you all think!!

Thanks :)

Please tell me you kept all the STOCK body parts, this car look beautiful when you bought it man, I usually don't say much, cause I am to each their own, But I have never Modified a Nice original car. I think it looked better in original form, but that is just me. Like I said to each their own.

Nice car but I have to agree with Aaron on this one once you start changing the body of a 93 Cobra it just starts looking like any other 93 with a body kit on it. But it is yours enjoy it. And keep all the stock parts.

I have all the original stock parts still and im going to keep the rest of the bodykit stalk. I just added the bumper and hood so it looks a little more aggressive :)

@brennan. the interior is grey leather

That was one sweet car before the body kit, now it looks like a GT or LX trying to imitate a cobra. It's your car so enjoy it the way you like but please keep the original parts

what do you mean i have my wheels on the wrong side?

As i said, i havent changed anything since i got the car 4 months ago except the above mentioned. perhaps the previous owner rotated them, is that a problem?

The wheels are directional, should have 2 lefts and 2 rights. Pull the center cap off and see which way the arrow is pointing in the center.

 I to wanted to put a stalker front end on my red..... but then I said wtf was I thinking. It is your car and you can do what you wish. But why not do that to a GT. Im all for making the car perform better. but as far as a body kit, I dunno....... but It is a nice car no doubt

Like the picture of the COBRA at the top of the before and after picture page. Just a suggestion, take another shot without the reflection in it and use it as your avatar. That's a cool shot of it..IMO.
