For sure we can take a spin! I think your cars sweet looking with the chromes. I live in Grass Lake so we are about an hour from each other, Ann Arbor would be a good meeting spot.93N8 wrote:Romo93 wrote:93N8 - How far you from Ann Arbor? We should meet up and add a few pictures! We need to find a Teal.93N8 wrote:Black and chrome is looks badass!
I'm about a half hr from you. Ya we definitely gotta meet up. I don't know of any teals near us. There's gotta be tho. And i want a ride in your car! When I bought my chromies my plan was to buy a black. But the red was a split sec deal. Couldn't pass it up. The pics don't do the chrome on red justice. It actually looks better than I thought.

Re: #3929 during todays cruise
IMO the quieter gears are preferable. It's nice to hear the supercharger whine AND hear the deep exhaust rumble. The louder gears drown out the exhaust sound a bit too much.1986Browns wrote:I know that Vortech markets that head-unit with helical (quiet) cut gears, but do you know if the V3 can be had with the older, louder, straight cut gears? To me that would be the best of both worlds...not having to tap the oil pan for a return line and a loud Vortech whining away under hood!Romo93 wrote:It's the new V-3 Self contained oil...1986Browns wrote:Which Vortech head unit is that (V1, V2, V3)?

Couldn't agree more about a black, chrome, nicely modded with a blower!BrettT wrote:Really like this car!

Romo, I suggest an "in-car video" like the one I posted recently. Windows down, a nice empty straight road and .... you know the drill. That way, we can compare my V2 with your brand new V3.
