Still loving the Cobra! Took some more pics!

Post by Hrsepla »

We've had the Cobra for 4 or 5 months now and have had a blast! Going to the local shows and cruises in Milwaukee as well as out to the Wisconsin Dells for Automotion and the Power Tour. It has been running perfect! The only things I did just add were a pair of Mickey Thompson Drag Radials to be able to at least stick on the few stop light and roll jaunts we have gotten into.
The rundown on the car again is a bone stock engine with only a few additions: TFS Stage 1 cam, full exhaust, handling springs/suspension, 2003 Cobra brakes and a Paxton Novi 1000 Supercharger. The small blower makes about 5-8 psi through an air to air intercooler and is perfect for the street. Just wanted to share a couple pics.

Here is a YouTube clip of my TFS Stage 1 cam : http://youtu.be/o7mgDSd4fPc

I don't post much but love to read and look at your guys builds!

Super clean car. Did you do a five lug swap for the '03 brakes?

Looks great! 8) Any vids of that TFS cam?!?!

Can you explain/post up some more pics of the air-to-air intercooler? Most all the intercoolers for Foxes are air-to-water (outside of Procharger) so your setup really interests me.

Thanks!
Yes those are longtubes and also a 5 lug conversion and 5 lug cobra wheels too.
I'll take more pictures of the engine compartment and intercooler setup.
An very cool older gentleman/ previous owner had the car built with all of the mods done at once.
The intercooler I thought was neat but totally unnecessary for this blower...
I'll take a video of the cam too!

Sounds awesome! :headbang: Are you still able to run the factory 1.7RR with the TFS cam?

The intercooler setup on your car looks top notch! Is it a kit or a custom fab'd system? Nicely done!

I believe the owner before me still used the stock rockers, it does have the TFS-2500100 spring kit I know.

Car is now for sale, I am selling a couple in order to make a change, thanks! (I still will always have a fox body though!)

Yes, these last few years since 40 I have been going through a whirlwind of cars... But always keeping Fox Bodies in the rotation.... Lol
I am driving new and different things now and have found the new Nissan GTR to get my attention after driving one this week!
I would love to pass this car along to another enthusiast!
