[quote="noacwas surpised this car didn't sell. I thought you were asking 14k obo? I see it had a top bid of 14.3k. A month ago a similar car(auto) with 10k miles on orig. tires only got 12.9k.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-FORD-MUSTA ... 7675.l2557[/quote]

I've seen that car and watched it, I will see what happens, I should have dropped the reserve a little more.

Willy, why didn't you have the reserve set to 14k, that would have been good money for that car. 14.3k was strong $$$. The hardest part is collecting that money on eBay. Best of luck, I'm sure you know what you're doing. Tom, that 12.9k with 10k miles, was pretty sweet! Only thing I didn't like was the paint prep work done to the engine compartment, looks like the intake plenum and valve covers were painted, probably not the best thing to do on a low mileage unrestored car like that one. And that undercarriage, is definitely not up to your standards

The car with 10k miles is still for sale, it never sold, Gillingham Ford has the car. I have never painted anything on the car, I'm sure the original owner didn't touch it either, surprised he knew how to open the hood. I have been slacking on the undercarriage, it won't take much I'm sure, it is on my list of things to hit once the weather gets a little better.

Willy, I was referring to the other car, not yours. It's a testament of how nice yours is that it fetched such excellent bidding to 14.3! Best of luck.

? Had a few tire kickers, no contact after the run on eBay the last couple times. I'm not too worried about it, I can keep the car for awhile also.

Looks great, I would just enjoy it for the summer with a for sale sign in it.
