Just brought #3708 home last night

Post by oldernu »

I drove it 100 miles from where I purchased it to home last night, and it is a blast. I had forgotten what it was like to drive with HP and that rumble of flowmasters. This Teal Sparkler has been ported and polished, Vortech V2 SC added, long tube headers, new struts and shocks, upgraded injection and cooling. Interior is gray cloth in first class shape. She has 84K on the speedo and acts like she has 10. Everything outside and inside is completely original with the exception of the items I already mentioned. Paint is perfect barring two tiny chips which will get attention immediately. So far I give her a 8.0 and when finished with that new set of skins she will easily make 9.5. Life is still good at "69". See you in Myrtle Beach. Oldernu

Welcome! Very nice ride.

My car has some of the same mods as yours. I'm running Nitto NT555 tires and highly recommend them. Excellent dry traction and surprisingly good treadwear for a high performance tire. I've also driven high performance cars with Michelins and they have two tire lines I'd also highly recommend - Pilot Super Sport or Pilot Sport PS2s. IMO these tires outperform anything you can get from Goodyear.

You guys certainly know your Cobras. I hope to get educated over the next few months and will definitely be in Charlotte for the 50th to find the few missing original items Im looking for. One of which is an owners manual. oldernu

Welcome to the Registry! This is a great place to get advice and find out information about our 93's. I learn more and more every day, and Yes, some of these guys DO know a lot about the 93 Cobra, and a great group of friendly guys at that. 8) Congrats on the new purchase too. :headbang:
