Nothing like a little preventive maintenance to keep the ol' Cobra purring along. Looking good as always, Esco.escogt wrote:Did some routine maintenance on #1521 this morning. OEM Motorcraft fuel filter change along with OEM Motorcraft distributor cap & rotor. Also took her to a local cruise-in. Still runs & drives as a new car.

Those headrest do look awesome. The factory headrests in these cars are at my neck at best.

The stock seats in the 93 Cobra were definitely not one of the better features of the car.

Thanks, Tom. Looks way better with the 'halos'. It's such a simple switch and of course I still have the originals.noac wrote:Those headrest do look awesome.
For sure. I assume to keep cost at bay? A set of Recaros would have been perfect!!Z282SLO wrote:The stock seats in the 93 Cobra were definitely not one of the better features of the car.

Installing hurst shifter handle and knob with a steeda clutch cable and quadrant kit. The stock cable has seen better days! It doesn't release till almost halfway up!

Removed even more of the accessories and components enroute to engine bay restoration.
Today;
Removed fuel rails, injectors and injector harness. Bead blasted and painted all drive pulleys. Bead blasted more bolts and treated with black oxide coating. Oh, removed the hood for better access.
Stared at engine compartment pondering how to paint inner fenders and firewall without pulling engine.
