Hello everyone

I'm the 2nd owner and the car has only 40,000 miles...

I don't see many polished aluminum Cobra rims around.

How many Cobra's came with these wheels??

The stock 93 Cobra wheels can be chromed or polished. I don't think any came that way from the factory, But I think Kevin would know for sure. BTW nice looking Cobra and welcome to the site.

Thanks, Cool BBS.

As far as I know these are stock rims. They're not dipped in chrome but polished aluminum.

I wonder why different Cobra's got different rims.

As far as I know, NO Cobras came from the factory with chromed or polished wheels. My last 93 cobra had chromed stock wheels and although they were great quality, I doubt they came from the factory that way.

Some dealers might have had them chromed along with other parts to ask higher prices (i know of valve covers being done before for these purposes).

Judging by the mods to your car I would guess the previous owner bought those or had them done.

I did all the mods to my car.

How do we find out if they came with stock polished rims??

Ask 1993 Cobra, The site Admin. The back of the OEM wheels have the Ford oval on them. There are repop. cobra wheels for sale that are polished, chromed or painted, But the offset is for 87-93 Mustangs and not cobras. Might want to check the back of one of Your wheels to see if they are indeed OEM wheels. I have some OEM wheels in Chrome and some Polished but I don"t think they came from the factory that way.

You can just pop off Your center cap and the ford part# is right there.

No 93 cobra had polished or chrome from the factory, Could be done by dealer or previous owner.

That is the best looking dash aftermarket gauge setup that I have ever seen in a FOX body Stang ever.

Welcome to the registry. I live in Lilburn and also have a 93 Black Cobra with the gray cloth interior. Only 327 made. Mine now has 109K and still looks good, but yours is super. Where did you find the car?

I belong to the locat SVTOA Atlanta chapter. My name is Vic Johnson and my e-mail is victor.johnson@dematic .com.
