After reading the thread on #4991 and what it supposedly sold for, I don't feel so badly about what I paid. Personally, I don't want a car with any paintwork. I would love it if my 83 looked perfect but I'll keep the imperfections for an all original, from the factory car, which is what I hope this ...

Congrats. I lost out on a red/black last week. Had the deal lined up, cash in hand, bags packed, and the night before I'm suppose to go get it the guy texted saying his wife wouldn't let him sell the car. I'm still pissed about it. Duke, Where was your red/blk located? yer makin' me nervous now :?

The red on black cars don't come up very often, if they do they don't last too long. Was this one optioned with a power driver seat? mine does... man i wish i saw interior pics of this car. Williams be sure to post pics of it when it arrives. Most of the ones I have ran across weren't optioned that...

I did. I emailed everybody on the registry with a red/black non sunroof low mileage car a few months ago. Got 2 replies, one was sold 1.5 years ago and is in NY now. The other wasn't for sale. Didn't think I'd ever get another chance.
