changed out some speakers today and needing to find out which way is best to go.the vapor barriers under the door panels are ripped ina few places,is there any available or whats the best fix for this/i would really like some new oem ones,but probably gonna be tough to find unless i can gt one of you guys to heat gun a set off for me.c'mon guys give me your imput on this....thnaks.

what do yu think,butyl ribbon sealer to reseal them?anybody....somebody alive in here? still would take a few if anybody has any??:roll lol

I use painters' plastic drop cloth, cheap and you get a lot of it. Get the thicker better quality stuff, cut a piece that's too large for the door, use 3M 77 spray glue to tack it on, then trim with an exacto knife. I've done it to literally dozens of cars and trucks.

thanks mike for the response.i got some repo ones,and put it on with the butyl sealer,basically soft windshield gasket maker.looks nice,,and can pull back and restick if need be.dont know why they do this from the factory and sure there would be alot more cars out with them on or not ripped up.paid 20 buks for the ones at lrs,,thick neopren type material.touch thicker than stock,clear though instead of white.i thought about the drop cloth after i ordered a set,but thats the way to go and save 15 bucks.cheap drop cloth and butyl i think is the way to go.i appreciate the imput,knew i couldnt be the only one runnin into this.overall i am happy with the turn out....
