Since you have a black car, a chrome set would look nice on it. Unless you wanted to go for the black look and get them powder-coated black. I would love a set of chromes myself!

I just posted some pic's of mine, I've had mine chromed for 13 yrs.. the center caps have peeled, so i just polished whatever coating was on under the chrome. Chrome is easy to keep clean.. I've heard it's more work to keep the polished ones clean. I would say chrome the wheels and polish the center caps.

I will take a better Pic of my chrome wheels with the polished center cap... as long as you polish the center cap it usually looks close to the chrome. After I chromed the cap 13 yrs ago i knew they were going to peel off since they are thin metal.. maybe they have new tech. for those now..?

Just want to add. I have chrome wheels on the 03 and polish on the 93. As they both sit in the garage...they seem to need just about the same attention to keeping them looking good. The humidity and or dust always seem have to some effect on their appearance after sometime. I always have to buff either the chrome or polish wheels no matter what. From just sitting in the garage. So, I would say doesn't really matter chrome or polish. They both need a little attention to detail from time to time.

You can get polish to look like chrome. I think mine do after I spent an evening using mothers polishing cone.

Here is what they can look like.
