Still awaiting word on SVT, rumors are the GT350 will be announced in April for 50th birthday.

Im on the fence, have to see it in person..Im not a vette guy but I saw two new stingray corvettes pass me yesterday they were cruising together and for a second I thought it was an exotic car the definitely changed the trailer park look IMO

I think a 93 cobra screams, classic/classy/ I used to have one or always wanted one in high school..then go look at some of the red corvette convertible guys it screams "cheese" now a ZR1 or ZO6 thats a different story

I've always thought the differences between the zl1 zr1 and or z06 or whatever it is they call their flagship models vs the base and SS models are too subtle. I like how the SVT models are very noticeably different from the base and GT. (Though ironically my favorite the 93 cobra was probably the most subtle SVT model).....

I'm excited to see the GT350 but am anxious to see Ford drop the Shelby name at some point and get back to the SVT cobra, or perhaps a new nameplate would be neat to see. Also think we might see a different version of the Boss and or the Mach1 at some point this generation. Exciting times.

perfect motor for a "muscle car". Im going to get one and put a potato launcher exhaust on it and a nice body kit.

I read in C&D that the '15 GT w/Performance Pack will outperform the '12/'13 Boss models. Kudos to Ford if that is accurate.

Well it's where we are at now, the Camaro and Dodge products are going to have to give up on the monster size engines and heavy platforms and follow suit or else they'll end up a niche car or more likely dead again. Unless the Camaro loses weight I don't see it catching the Mustang in quarter mile or track performance for that matter with this new lower, wider, and hopefully even lighter Mustang. The emissions standards and appeal to a wider audience dictate it. I love where the Mustang is headed, and if takes the Eco 4 and v6 to help price point and appeal to the mainstream so the 5.0 sticks around for the real enthusiasts, so be it. Also the Mustang has kind of always straddled the "muscle car/sports car/pony car" line in my mind. Lastly the SVO in 80s was turbo 4, plus our beloved Fox platform had those hideous base model 4 bangers, so it's not like it's unprecedented. I bet Ford sells a boatload of turbo 4s with this new model.

That 2.3L Ecoboost will be putting out at least 300hp and 305 lb-ft. Don't knock it till you try it.

If I didn't have a growing family, and was single bachelor, you bet your ass I'd be getting one!
