Dude, I can't stand this anymore. I'm gutting my cats today. I just spent $600 at the DMV to get my car registered so no money for nice exhaust YET. So, anything louder will have to do for now.

Well the back two cats are right by a flange, so the plan is to unbolt the flanges, then just take a rod and beat out all the screens and baffles. Then I'll bolt it back up together and see how it sounds. If it is still not loud enough then the front two I will cut the pipes off right at the cats, then do the same thing. Then weld the pipes back together. Should only take a few hours.

Got 'er done!
Everything went as planned. Cut the exhaust off right after the first cats, then took a wood paddle bit on a drill and drilled out every piece of honey comb from the cats. Then I just decided to make my own "off-road h-pipe" check out the pics. Had some extra 2-1/4" exhaust laying around and it worked out perfect! Then just welded everything back into place.

As for sound, it sounds great! Not too loud at all but much needed. It'll do nicely until I do the whole exhaust.
