I bought and am waiting for parts to redo both of my door panels. I am replacing the power switch covers, the switches, the map pockets, the door bezels, door clips, and the moisture barrier in-between the panel and door. When I get it all in I am going to remove both panels and clean them up really good, replace the above mentioned parts and they should be looking good as new! 8)

Sounds good Phish. When you complete please put up some pics, I am looking to redo my map pockets and was wondering about how new ones would look against the OEM door panel. I assume you are not replacing the whole door panel correct? I know the overall look will obviously depend on the wear and any fade of the panels, but mine look good just some saggy pockets.

Yes, I am reusing the original door panels. I will post up some picks when they're complete. It'll probably be a couple of weeks though!

Well today I put gas in it for only the second time in a year and a half. I got both bumper covers ready for paint. Now it's just about ready for the finally wet sand. It's just to hot to work on it in the afternoon.

i took it out to a local cruse about 20 min from my house, it was an overcast day, thought it might rain - but it held up. When i got there like 4 different people came right to my car, and asked - is this the real deal?? i just smiled and said yes. You dont see them often, but i had the time last night to take it out for a joy ride. PS i won a raffle for a mustang movie.. that was a bonus too.

Just got back from vacation, dusted the teal off. It's amazing how just sitting in the garage untouched for a week, how much dust accumulates on the car.

replaced my thermostat today and it actually helped a little bit as far as keeping the temp down. On my "temp" thread i said my needle actually passed the 270 mark, but when i replaced the thermostat the needle stayed in the middle of the gauge. I'm still going to order a fan clutch and new fan since i noticed cracks in it, and hopefully it will keep my stanky stang cooler

Today I let a 15 year old sit in the drivers seat and start it up. He almost wet the seat, pretty much made his year. No, he did not drive it.
