When I change them for what ever reason, I will put motorcraft ones back in there.

AWSF32C are the OEM Motorcraft Plugs. The "C" on the end of the part number stands for COPPER suppressor plug.
AWSF32P is the old Motorcraft number for PLATINUM suppressor plug.
Both of these plugs have been discontinued due to problems with these plugs backing out after time.
SP447 is the new Motorcraft replacement COPPER suppressor plug for the 93 Cobra.
SP493 is the new Motorcraft replacement PLATINUM suppressor plug for the 93 Cobra.
Both of these plugs have a longer reach (thread length) than the OEM plugs. Motorcraft claims that this extended reach will stop the plugs from becoming lose and backing out. I installed the SP493 Plug in my Cobra. There about $5.00 each.

Hey guys, I pulled my plugs and they are Motorcraft AGSF 32PM PLATINUM. How does that compare to the AWSF32C plugs you say are OEM?

I took in a plug and told them I want one heat range colder and it came up with an Autolite Pluatinum AP106. Anyone have any way of checking that??

Seems to me that the Cobras have totally different plugs than a regular 5.0... I looked at Autolite 23's are they aren't even close, they are 1/2" shorter than the Cobra plugs...

Oh, BTW, I am getting ready for BOOST!!

They are different ...I don't have the specifics at hand, but different plugs are indicated on the respective emissions decals (on the coil cover) between a regular 5.0 and a Cobra.

Motorcraft doesn’t offer any other Platinum plug for our cars other than the SP493. My guy at Motorcraft said that you would have to go to a Race Plug. The plug his store offers is made by Roush Racing and they are about $22 each.

Also, if you’re interested, go to http://www.motorcraft.com, then click on “LOOKUP PARTS BY VIN”, type in your VIN and checkout they’re on line catalog. As you will see, they call for different plugs for the cobra engines.

If I recall correctly, the Cobra plug specification is the same one specified for the 2.3 EFI engine, at least in '93.

You're Right :o ! I wasn't aware of that  . The 4 Cylinder and the Cobra take the same plugs. Platinum Plugs: AWSF32P or SP493 -and- Copper Plugs: AWSF32C or SP447. The GT 5.0 took Platinum Plugs: ASF42P or SP502 -and- Copper Plugs ASF42C or SP450. The Gap is .054" for the Cobra and GTs but only .044" for the 4 Banger :? .

So, the as the part numbers go up the heat range goes down, right? And vice versa..
