My back window is already tinted (it was like that when I bought the car), so I decied to go ahead and tint the others. I wish the back window was limo tine, but its' lighter than that. I have a defroster windwo, and I don't want to take a chance on wrecking the defroster having the film taken off. So I will leave the back window as is. I will do (having it done actually) the rear quarter windows in limo tine, and the rollups will be done in a lighter tint. The legal tint for rollups is almose clear. I will be doing the rollups two shades darker than legal. I have the same tint on my F-250 superduty and have been lucky so far not to have gotten a ticket for it. We'll see if that holds tru for the Cobra. It's a "bit" more higher profile than my all white pickup.

you can have another layer applied on top of the tint already on the hatch, it will make it darker.

Dude, the professional window tinters have a chemical that takes off the tint on the window defrost windows. I had them do mine, and I stripped the sides myself with a razor blade, hair dryer, and laccur thinner.
My charcoal 15% is nice espeically with my black interior. Then I just went back there this morning and got a limo 5% brow put on.
I gotta try to get some pics today....

Hmm, wonder why they didn't say anything to me about going over it. Maybe I'll ask next time I'm over there. Thanks...

They said they could do it, but there is a small chance that they could mess up the defroster.

I did 15% (Limo) on the 1/4 windows and 35% on the roll ups. 35% is 2 shades darker than legal here in Cali.

Around here 5% is limo and 15% is twice the legal limit as 30% is the limit on rollups. I went one 1.5" lower that the ASI line on the windshield for the brow with the 5.. Way nice.

Your right. Limo is 5% and that is what I used on the 1/4 windows. The roll ups are 35%, which is 2 darker than legal. The legal tint here isn't even tint, or atleast it doesn't look like it has any tint.

I got 5% on the back and 20% on the fronts. I like it. Want to get it redone so it looks a little better and will be doing 15% up front. Here in PA, tint is not legal, well it has to let 75% of light through.

I read somewhere that the Cal. Hiway patrol gave out thousands of tickets for tint last year. They hate it. On my F-250, I have the tint that is illegal, and have manual windows. So far ( knock on wood ) I've been okay. The one time I was stopped, I was able to roll down the window before the CHP got to my truck. The Cobra, obviously, has power windows and would be easier and quicker to get down

I would go out right now and take a pic, but my car is so dirty, I would be ashamed! It's been sitting in the garage without the cover on it for more than a week.

Got a show this weekend and didn't want to get all exited about cleaning it until tomorrow.
