looks like an over sized focus, doesn't even look like a mustang, imo

Yep, looks like the Taurus, Fusion, and Focus. Just what Acura has done using the same nose for its lineup.

After nearly 10 model years of retro styling, the new Mustang is going to be a love it or hate it design. Not quite sure why Ford insists on blatantly copying from Aston Martin. Not a bad idea to improve the looks of the Fusion, but why the new Mustang as well?

I think it needs the rear corner window to be separate and the front grill to resemble little more like a mustang.

Remember when Ford planned to stop Mustang production in the late 80s and replace it with the Probe?!? Lots of Mustang enthusiasts wrote to Ford about that insane plan and the rest is history.

Maybe we need to write to Ford about their new design.

Check out this story ... the new Mustang is already available. Simply substitute "new Mustang" wherever it says "2013 Aston Martin DB9".

It just sort of leaves me cold. Kind of like when the '89 Probe was supposed to be the next Mustang, only without the fruity drive train. However, I bet it sells well.

Considering the 2013 Mustang base model with a V6 has more horsepower and is faster than a stock 93 Cobra, that might not help with sales.
