Back on the road

Post by Doughrat19 »

I got the itch early this year to get my cobra back on the road. Put the battery back in and took her to the carwash today. I'm hoping for good weather here in Mass for the next couple of months so I can enjoy her.

How do you deprive yourself for so long, DB? Once a good late winter rainstorm comes through its back on the road for my Cobra.

Also, very nice teal/black Doughboy. 8)

Same here. It rained real good a few days ago & washed away any remaining salt that was on the roads.

Thanks guys. She's no garage queen, over 100k on her so I'm not that anal about the salt. But it has been raining here off and on for the last few days, and I only had her on the road for about 4 miles. To the gas station, car wash and back. Found out that the after market "alarm" on the car is actually a kill switch. Was freaking out when I put the battery back in and the car wouldn't do anything. Flipped the switch under the dash and she started right up. I thought it was an alarm that didnt work, haha.

Typical weather for this area, huge snow-storm followed by a rain storm of a few inches and then flooding! :pissed:
