Is there any touch up paint available for us with vibrant red COBRAS

That's a good question. I've never seen any in parts stores, but there should be. Our paint code was used on a variety of years. Please post info if you find it.

You might be able to get it from ford still , it is the same color as the 2000 cobra R, not sure what code the R is ? ES, EY , ?

The code is ES.

ALBZ 19500-6564A per Ford parts men and women nationwide. Most of them tell me it is obsolete. However, one dealership I spoke with today had one left. UPS will deliver by Monday or Tuesday.

Black touch up paint is PMP 19500-1724A.

What is the Teal?

So is this "ALBZ 19500-6564A" the actual or specific paint code?

Secondly, this particular dealership you contacted. What area of the country is it regionally located. I know I may not get that one but maybe this color would still be of high demand in certain areas of the nation.

Colors/Trim

There were only 3 exterior color options available for the 93 Cobra. They include Black, Red and Teal. There is technical information to support a non clear coated version of Vibrant red only of which found their way on 9 Cobra's. Exterior color codes were:

UA: Black Clearcoat

RD: Teal Metallic Clearcoat

ES: Vibrant Red Clearcoat

EY: Vibrant Red non Clearcoat

Clearly ES and EY are 93 Cobra colors.

Here's the kicker. When the touch up paint arrived (ALBZ 19500-6564A) it has the code EY yet the color Ford has printed underneath the EY is Performance Red, not Vibrant Red.

Please, someone surmise about this sticky situation.

Vibrant Red Cobra owners, what is the paint code listed on the driver's door of your Cobra? Please, open the door and read the paint code.
