Darker wheels

Post by Murph »

Anybody ever had their wheels painted a darker shade than stock? If so, do you have any pictures you can post? I had mine painted factory color a couple years ago and they looked great until I had new tires put on today and they put new wheel weights on at different spots on the wheels. Now you can see where the old weights were so I was thinking about having them repainted. This time I was thinking of going darker. I saved a picture off an ebay ad from awhile ago of this Cobra and always thought it looked pretty sweet.

For future, you should consider stick on weights on inside of rim. I've not head weights on outside or rim lip in fifteen years.

Hopefully my Gatorbacks will last awhile. Next time I'll ask them to put them on the inside.
