It's because Teal's are sexy!

That's good money for a 93. Add on top of it the auction fees as well!

If it had black cloth makes me wonder what it would've brought...$30K+???

Seems like strong money for what the car is, but we all know the '93 Cobra market is trending up!

Just ran the vin# on it because I was curious when I saw the Hurst chrome shifter with white ball. I know only one person who still likes that and he bought a teal/cloth new and put that shifter in it. It is the car he bought new and sold it and it went to New Mexico in around 02. Car should have around 4k miles is what Carfax said. It only had like 2 or 3k when he sold it. Its not stock tho it had the shifter, exhaust and gears.

Id say this was probably a pretty accurate auction value as the cars that run in the non prime time numbers tend to be descent deals.

I'm in Scottsdale now for my first BJ auction. Checked this car over as close as I could. Enough to see that aftermarket turbo style mufflers, no cat converters, vin tag missing on rear bumper cover, shifter incorrect as mentioned, and a very untruthful description on the windshield. " multiple 100 point judging sheets from mustang club of America " "the only thing not original on this car is its new motorcraft battery". I really would have like to have seen the hood, doors and hatch open. I'm sure I could've found something else. This is one of many examples I found of misrepresented cars at the auction

It hammered at $25k the $27.5 is with the 10% included. So if it sold new in Morganton I know Speed probably has this car pinned. 3558 miles listed in catalog. I can check odometer tomorrow

The description never said it scored 100 points, just that it had 100 point judging sheets (that a perfect example would score 100 on) to go with the car. See if you can locate those when you look at it tomorrow, I'd be interested to see what it did score.

For some reason if I remember correctly the vin sticker is located in a weird spot on the rear cover also should be a ding or something on one of the rear tail pipes seems like it was the passenger side if I recall. This is the first 93 Cobra I ever drove back when it was new on the lot.

I stand corrected on the vin tag. Dead center on the non painted area facing rear diff tucked way up in there. Nice call Speed. Didn't find ding on exhaust tip but it did have one on the passenger front roof top. No sheets available.

I actually spoke to the dealer that had this car on consignment around 4 months ago, I'm 99% sure its the same car, the dealer was pretty firm on the 25 K . car was very clean. I didn't
end up with the car as I found a red one, but I was close to pulling the trigger on it. Glad to see it got good money
