1993 Cobra Registry

I bought #2700 last year and on the registry it has Ford internal use, anyone know anything about that?

Ford internal use designates that the car was not initially shipped to a dealer for sale to the public. Instead, it would have been given to a Ford executive, parts supplier, or other vendor to use without a title being issued. Sometimes these cars were used for shows or other promotional purposes or given to the car magazines for articles, road tests, etc.

Interesting that a later build car would carry such a designation, I'd think this would be something you'd more commonly see on very early build units.

I had a 93 Reef Blue SSP coupe that was designated for internal use fro the first couple years. I tried to get more details on it never could get anything, did have a Marty report done on it and told me what I figured.
