1993 Cobra Registry

Did any of you guys ever take your car in for the fuel rail recall?

never heard of one

When I ran a carfax for my Cobra the ford recall came up for fuel rail. If you go to www.autosite.com look under recalls, you will see two recalls for the 1993 Cobra. One is for the ignition switch and the other is fuel rail.

Have replaced the ignition switch on these cars for individuals.

I had Ford do the fuel rail recall. 'Don't remember when it was without digging thru my records, but it was right when the recall came out.

Although I'm the original owner, I've never heard of the ignition switch recall.....

Just so you know that recalls are area specific on some of them.

What applies to your northern car may not apply to a southern car.

Yep - Lee, after seeing this thread, I went to the Ford website and searched for recalls by entering my VIN. Nothing showed up for either recall. I figured the fuel rail recall didn't show because I've already had it taken care of. As you said, I was thinking (hoping) the ignition switch recall didn't show because my VIN wasn't included.
