Ya, way too much for that car. They have been selling around the $25k mark with low miles.

If anyone is looking for a 1995 R for a fair price, this Corral Member needs to sell his due to medical/healthcare costs from heart surgery:
http://forums.corral.net/forums/mustang ... bra-r.html
It is 1995 R #131 (out of only 250). His last asking price is $18k, and taking offers (he started at $22k).
IMO, even at $18k today, it's a steal for a 1995 R, which these are appreciating in value (for those remaining in good to excellent condition).
I can only hope someone helps that fella out by purchasing his 95R.

As much as he talked about giving so much away in his speech, which made me think of this song.

It's still a little high for the mileage. The 95's aren't appreciating they seem to be everyone's least favorite for some reason. They have never carried the following the 93 or the 2000 has and I don't get it I think it is the best of the bunch. Low mile cars are struggling to bring low 20's.

Also, the car has motor, radio and A/C mods. While those mods seem like nice additions (esp. a 475 hp crate motor), IMO they hurt the value of an R model.
