1993 Cobra Registry

1993 only offered 3 colors for Cobras..... What did the other years offer? Another question would be if/when did ford just say.. heck you can get a cobra in ANY available color for that year?

There was no 2000 Cobra, huh? Didn't know that.

Yup, there was a 2000 Cobra only sold in Australia. It had UGLY quad fog lights. Yes, quad. They looked like this....




There were a few 2000 Cobra prototypes. One was colored Mystic Gold.

I think that site has the years mixed up. 2000 Cobras were produced. I don't think 2002s were.

Well there definitely were not any 2000 cobras outside the Cobra R and Australian version.

Not sure about 2002... I couldnt find any on autotrader....

There were no 2000 Cobras in the states beside the R. I had one ordered for over a year. They had trouble with the horsepower on the 99's and never produced the 00's. They came back with the 2001's.


I do have 2000 Cobra brochure that they never produced. I wonder if it will ever be worth anything?

For sure. No 2000 Cobras or there would be one sitting next to my 93!

FORD NEVER MADE A 2002 COBRA. THE PROTOTYPE THEY HAD FOR THAT YEAR WAS SORRY, SO THEY THEY WENT BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND CAME UP WITH THE 03 COBRA. IT DID COME OUT LATE IN 02 BUT WAS A 2003 MODEL. I WAS WORKING AT MY AUNT AND UNCLES FORD DEALERSHIP SELLING CARS FROM 2000-2003 SO I HAD THE INSIDE SCOOP

I believe there were 200 '02 Cobras that were sold in Australia only.

John Coletti, head of SVT, drove the proposed 2002 Cobra, in the annual SVT desert run and said there was "no way" he was going to build "this dog". He told his team to come back when they had a design worthy of production. The result was the terminator.
