OEM air box Part number ?s

Is the part numbers on the factory air box specific to the 93 cobra or is it the same as whats on the GT/LX in 93? I have a really nice factory air box including the silencer on the 93 cobra I just picked up. I will be replacing with a BBK CAI. Im not ever going back to stock and not woried about keeping it since the car had mods when I bought it and no stock parts came with it. Whats this worth? Make fair offers.

Same as on the GT/LX's. I was just looking at mine the other day because back in the day I took the motorcraft sticker off and put on a K&N one. 50resto sells the stickers and there's NOS air boxes on ebay for like $145 and I was trying to figure out what I needed.

Pretty sure I remember it being a E6 part number but i'm not at home to look right now.

If you still have the air silencer that would probably be more rare since most people throw them out

Oh funny, small world! Yeah I've been trolling both boards since I bought my old Cobra back (sold back in 03 and just got back from the guy who bought it). I'm trying to locate some stock items but am still not 100% sure if i'm going to restore it or keep modding.

That being said i'll probably hang on to the bbk's until I decide, besides the car is in winter storage and probably won't get out until May at the rate we are getting snow.

Have any other stock stuff to sell?

I have a Brand new BBK Fenderwall CAI still in the Box I will sell if anyone wants it. Make offer. It's new so Im not giving it away.

I just got one off the corral for 100 shipped and it had 350 miles on it. Paid for it yesterday wish I knew you had one. Anybody got any lowering springs?

My BBK came in the mail today and I swapped out the factory air box. I would like to get 100 bucks for the complete factory air box with air silencer and even the bracket for mass air and all bolts go with it. Its in very nice shape can send a few pics of it still on the car and pics of it now that it is off. For anything less than 100 bucks I will just save it to swap back on the car when I sell and keep the BBK that I paid 100 bucks for.

Can somebody confirm the part number off theres for me? want to make sure mine is the correct factory one from 93. this car has changed a few hands since 1993

Part numbers are on the fender side of the box and upside down.

Yes that appears to be 2 part numbers but i'm looking right at the box and it has them just as listed above. This box for sure came off my 93 cobra so there's no question of that. E8 would be a '88 part and E6 an '86 respectively. I know this style air box was new in 86 but not sure why the 88 number is on there, maybe the clips or something small like that were updated? 88 Cali cars had mass air so maybe that has something to do with it but the box isn't different? Weird.

Sweet thanks. thats exactly what numbers are on mine i guess its the factory box after all. now I know somebody out there needs this....
