1993 Style, 17 x 8.5 Chrome Wheels

I'm selling a used set of chrome 1993 Cobra style wheels. These are not stock, they're 8.5" wide (and chrome finish).

I would rate the exterior finish 9 out of 10. Could even be 10 out of 10 with a little more polish & elbow grease. Never been curbed, that I can tell (they were on the car when I purchased it, and I never did).

Flaws: The chrome is peeling on the "inner" side rim on a couple of the wheels (not visible when mounted -- it is on the back side of the wheel). One of the center caps is dinged up in a couple of places, but the other 3 are very good shape.

I am only selling because I put the stock color wheels back on. Asking $600. Email whoop@hotmail.com for pics. I'd like to sell these locally (San Antonio, TX) just to avoid shipping, but if the buyer pays shipping, I wouldn't mind boxing them up.

didn't the offset of these rims hit the front struts??? these are ment for every fox but the 93 cobra i thought.

These were on the car when I purchased it (the chrome 8.5's), so I just swapped for the same size (silver). Originally, the only issue I had with these was that they'd rub the inside lip of the rear fender on bumpy roads (mine's also lowered a bit). I had those rolled, problem solved. The front tires hit the fender on a *sharp* turn, but normal driving conditions aren't any problem. The replica wheel websites do say that these won't fit the '93 Cobra because of the offset, but there are ways to make it work, I understand. I'm only assuming that was done on mine (aside from rolling the fenders), because I don't have any other clearance problems.

I would run them in the back, but not on the front, Unless you but GT rotors on it.
