If it's NOS, a bunch. Depending on the mileage and condition of a used, still a pretty big chunk of change.

The last NOS set I saw sell for was around 2k for the catback alone. That's were the money comes into play. The h-pipe and headers, not so much.

Less than 500 miles. It all was removed when the car was purchased new and stored in a garage. It all looks absolutely perfect.

I would say jump on it, if you can get it for a decent price. If anything buy it and hold onto it or resell for a little profit. If not give the details to someone on here looking for one.

Just got home with the complete exhaust that I described above. Absolutely mint also got an air box with silencer with the original air filter and smog pump parts and all have less than 500 miles on it.

LOL! OK, so what did you give for it, if I may ask?

Exhaust

Post by aaronlstiles »

He had it on SVTP for like 2 years, I've been trying to get him to ship it for a year now, But he was not sure how to ship it. He was asking $750 for all of it.

You are correct Aaron. He said someone out west had contacted him multiple times.

Exhaust

Post by aaronlstiles »

Ya, I even tried to have him meet my Brother in KY, but he didn't act like he was very interested in that. Exhaust was Mint, let me know if you decide to sell it. Very good deal I think.

I plan on putting it on my car. All I need now is 4 new gatorbacks and a cassette player. Once i can locate these items its time for restoration.

I got a casset player. Ill take 100 bucks for it. It blows my mind that you would buy that car for 8g and "restore" it. It was a great driver. When you are done restoring it its still going to be a 100k+ mile car that has crash history and you will likley have more money in it than what you could have bought one for that is just as clean but as Aaron said when I started modding mine, "to each there own."

I want a slick car that I am not afraid to drive or put miles. I do all the work myself and enjoy it so it is no big expense. I located the original owner outside of Nashville and he possibly still has all the original paperwork. It blows my mind that one vin tag is missing from the pass door and people think the car is not worth fixing up or could only be a DD. Its not that big of a deal to me.

If you paid $750 for it, that's a very fair price considering they're hard to come by.

If you could locate someone with a very low mileage 93' that has an aftermarket catback on it (pretty common) it would be worth much more to them then what you paid.

X2 with budda them are like money in the bank. There are several people that would like to have the exhaust for that price.
There are several people that have these cars that want like museum quality cars and people that like drivers, I don't blame you for finding one with miles on it to drive. I am always not wanting to put miles on my car, I cant resist the urge from time to time and break down and drive them.

X2 on that statement..... As I was in the hunt for a teal/blk/roof car hopefully right around the 100k miles mark so I wouldn't feel guilty driving it......ended up getting a really nice taken care of 150k mile teal/blk. Couple issues with it....but the best thing is no rust, and well taken car of interior and paint. Enjoy that car, as I know you will.
