I ordered this one, looks like it has a better design over the original for better cooling but it is still OEM FORD which is what I wanted. Anyone use one of these yet?

Where is it leaking from? The seep hole or the metal plate between the pump and block?

There is a slight leak from the seep hole between the metal plate and the block there is some corrosion so its hard to tell I figure for $45 its worth it to change it out....

I don't think this will be the actual pump you will be getting, the new Ford pumps are made in china, and no longer have the Ford Logo on them. But If I am wrong let me know, I know the last one I got came in ford racing box, but once opened it was a china pump with a ford racing sticker on it

That sucks it showed a ford stamped part. How did the pump hold up? Do you know where you can get a Ford one?

I hate to say I told you so, If you want a NOS pump, you will pay top dollar. I have a few, but dont want to sell.

Also, you may have good luck at NAPA with a reman pump. Most of there re-man pumps are original ford housings. May be the same with autozone, all I can say is check it out.

I was not a fan of that Ford sticker, made in China!!

Its the point of do want Chinese parts on your car? I don't, maybe if I had a Kia...I try to avoid anything made in china, if there is a alternative I get it. I'll buy a Mexico water pump over Chinese.

I think John was talking about the sticker and it not having the original Ford stamp. Not about where it's made.

I agree with Aaron check to see if you can get a re-man water pump and get an original, if not you might be able to re-use the old one if the gaskets were the only thing leaking.

There are several rebuilders that will rebuild your original part. Such as this one.
