We B autos listed it as sold. I called the guy just to get the scoop. He said he got alot more than I offered. I asked over $13k, he claims yes. I thought I was crazy at 12k for the car??

I doubt it. He was just trying to make you feel bad, from what you said it sounded like a pos. Did you ever meet the owner? Was the car at the dealership?

Yes, I met the owner and the car was at his house. Guy was a really nice guy. The car was in rough shape, but anything can be fixed. Car needed body work on every panel, and sand blasted everthing on the bottom, radiator support had holes in it. If you own a body shop and like cobras I guess that was the car for you. In the end you have a 23k mile, car no orignal paint that cost you as much as Willys mint orignal car.
