I had my 89' LX hatch stolen from a buddys house at a party. Cops found it the next day in a grove of trees. Dipshit kid plowed through a 90 bend on a gravel road. Nothing worse then going to car, only to find it's not where you left it.

It's never been found. :( I only had it for 6 months before the theft.
I'm on the hunt for another.

Did you ever pick another up to replace the stolen one?

I'm working in that now. Hopefully within the next few weeks I can get something. Looking for Teal.

After it was stolen, I bought an '85GT. I still have it. 12 years now & loving every minute of it.

I generally post all of the hard to find cars on the for sale section. I don't do ebay or some of the usual forums though. There are several teals floating around at the moment, I would say one of the best catchs now would be the teal and black and a sunroof if the guy would go lower on the price just a bit! Here is the link to the one I am talking about viewtopic.php?t=2284&start=15

Thanks. I've been looking in the FS section. This is a cool site. Hopefully I can acquire another soon. I know where there is a 6K mile Teal '93... but he wants $25K.

It seems a little high, the really low mileage cars like that are getting harder and harder to come by. Most owners of the low mileage cars are really pushed to sell either so if you want one like that you might just have to step up and spend a little more on them! I know I will if I ever find the black I am looking for!

I've been contemplating it. It's a lot of coin... but like you said, the low mile examples are getting rarer & rarer. It is a Teal one which is what I prefer.
The wheels in my mind have been working OT for the past few days mulling over this.

I would say it would be worth it in the long run, it may bring back some good old memories! I have been driving my GF nuts looking for a car for like the last six months now!
