After a good 10 year search I finally found what I was looking for. Bone stock down to the air silencer. I have never seen this color combo with black interior until I found this one. Plans for this include a forged 302 shortblock, Twisted Wedge heads, Holley Systemax intake and a polished S-Trim. Cant wait to get started. I forgot how doggish a 5.0 automatic with 2.73s is!! :dead:

Like the color, a stock GT is rare you sure you want to tear it up? :pat:

I only paid $3800 for it Buddah. I had it shipped here from Portland which cost me $650 but I was pleasantly surprised when it got here. All vin tags present and the underside looks nice. It's got 133k on it.

I don't consider the mods it's going to get as tearing it up. The stock engine is going on a stand and I never hack anything on my cars. Everything I take off will be kept to put back to stock if so desired. The outside of the car is going to stay exactly the way it is.

That is a nice find, with them miles I wouldn't worry too much about modding it. have fun with it and enjoy it.

Nice! My first 5.0-powered Mustang was that same exterior color combo. Bought it back in 96. Should have never sold it! Congrats!

Thanks guys. I am enjoying driving it. We've had such nice weather here lately I have been able to get it out.

Yep, all original paint. It's got a few scratches and nicks here and there but not too bad at all. One weekend of detail and I think it will stand out nice.

I bought one of this color combo new in 93 with gray interior and no roof. I put 15k on it and and sold it in 97 when we bought our house. I didn't think I could afford the house payment and the $144 a month I was paying on the Mustang. :pat: I've never seen another one around here. So happy to have this one. It's not a 93 Cobra but the next best thing IMO.

X2. Your planned mods will certainly make you forget about the AOD w/2.73 gears.

Speaking of the auto and 2:73's, I bought a used 93' vert off the lot without even test driving it back in 94'. After many years driving my 89' LX 5-speed with 3:08's, I hopped in this after signing the papers and for a bit seriously thought there was something wrong with the car. It was an absolute slug!

HA, I thought that the first time I drove this one. I had forgotten how much of a slug they are. I've got some 3.55's that are going in it just as soon as possible. I'm sure that will make a world of difference just doing that.
