Engine Replacement

Post by ccognetta »

I just got a 93 Cobra with 7200 miles on. The original engine and rear where pulled from the car. I was wondering if there any dates on the block
etc that I need to match to make it appear to be the correct engine for the car.

Thanks in advance.

Valve Covers

Post by ccognetta »

I was told that the valve covers also are specific to a 93 Cobra? The EFI 87-93 all look the same. What is the difference??

pretty much are the same except the gt and lx had an aluminum cover but they wont clear the roller rockers. 94-95 cobras had the word cobra stamped in them, even though it doesnt show up that good.
