Underhood markings

Post by 12SVT »

Anyone know what markings the Cobras came with from the factory under the hood? I'm referring to the sharpie marks. My car has one that's says 252 center of the radiator and one over of the driver headlight but it is faded an can't read It well. Wondered if anyone knew what they are supposed to be. Image

Ok. I was sure if they were of any significance. I don't plan to remove them but I wasn't sure what they meant either.

Along the same lines... What's the best way to reproduce the white X on the top of the air cleaner box. Tried white crayon and results were only ok.
