Ha! He has the balls to start the bidding at $1900, and says that the wheels are worth $4k. That guy is on some wicked crack!

I had mine redone for $400 including caps and valve stems, and they are PERFECT too.

Maybe I should sell them for a profit.

I bet it is one of our fellow members selling those but they don't want to admit it in the fourms, hehe.

I sold my stock Cobra rims for 1000 to someone local. 3 years later I wanted stock rims back and hunted and hunted and found a guy 1 1/2 hour away with them for sale for $475. What a steal. They are in great shape too.

Guys, you know that they are on tons of T-birds, both on the street and in wrecking yards.

Although similar, T-bird rims are different. If I remember right, T-bird rims are 16".

According to most of the literature that I have read on our cars, the reason we have these wheels was that the SVT sourced the rear end from the 86 T-bird turbo coupe. And because of the wider rear stance, they used wider rotors in the front to make the tracking right. The center caps are polished SS on the Cobras, but not on the T-birds. Is this not correct?

t-bird wheels that resymble ours are from 1993 and up, 15" with painted center caps with a t-bird logo molded in and they are 5 lug . for their small size and being they are 5lug I dont think they would be worth the trouble to try and use. the 4 lug ( 87-88 ) super coupe wheel from the car that uses our basic rearend looks nothing like our wheel. here is a pic of the 15 inch look-a-like.Image

this wheel is 4lug 87-88 ( has same rear end as ours) hope this helps clear up some confusion.
